What we're looking for

You have an MBO 3 diploma in the field of Electrotechnics and experience as an electrical technician in commercial buildings. You can work independently, read technical drawings, and consider it a matter of course to deliver your work safely and carefully.

Additionally, you have a Category B driver's license and VCA-Basis. VCA-VOL is a plus. For some clients, you must be able to apply for a Certificate of Good Conduct (VOG). Do you not yet have five to eight years of experience, but can you already perform the tasks independently? Then we would love to talk to you.

The role

Do you enjoy working on an installation that you see grow from assembly to completion? As an Electrical Technician for Commercial Buildings at Gouweloos Techniek, you will work on renovations and new builds for educational institutions, government bodies, and companies. You will travel from home to the project site and will be given the space to contribute ideas regarding execution on location.

What you'll do

You install electrotechnical installations in commercial buildings. You assemble, connect, test, and assist with the handover. Depending on the project, you will also work on data installations and security systems.

You work together with other technicians, the work planner, and the project leader. Do you see that something on the drawing can be done more cleverly in practice? Then you discuss it and tackle it together. This is how you ensure that the work is carried out safely, neatly, and according to schedule.
