Consumer Electronics Service Technician Rotterdam Region 1

As a consumer electronics service technician at GXO ServiceTech in the Rotterdam region, you will start your workday from home. With a fully equipped service van, you will head out to customers in your region to troubleshoot faults and repair equipment.

First, you pick up the necessary parts at the GXO hub. Then, you visit multiple addresses per day where you independently perform work on consumer electronics and household appliances from brands such as Samsung, LG, and Panasonic.

What your day looks like as a Service Technician

• Performing in-home repairs on white goods and consumer electronics for private individuals.
• Diagnosing and resolving faults, both hardware-related and electronic.
• Performing preventive maintenance on various appliances.
• Customer contact: You advise customers on-site regarding the use and maintenance of their equipment.
• Collaborating with the technical helpdesk and your colleagues in the field, so that you always have support.

• An MBO diploma in a technical field or demonstrable work experience as a service technician or maintenance technician.
• Technical insight and an independent working attitude.
• You are customer-oriented, professional in appearance, and possess strong communication skills.
• You have a good command of the Dutch language and basic knowledge of English.
