Car mechanic in the Netherlands

For our Volvo location in Mijdrecht, we are looking for reinforcement in the workshop. In this position, you will collaborate with colleagues, where you will work together on customers' cars. You are responsible for the maintenance, inspection, and repair of the vehicles, making use of the VPS system and the latest technologies. You and your colleagues not only work in a modern workshop, but you are also in direct contact with customers, informing them well about the work performed.

Tasks you may deal with daily include:

• Inspecting, maintaining, and repairing cars or (sub)systems;

• Troubleshooting and resolving faults;

• Contact with customers to clearly inform them about the repairs and maintenance work performed.

• It is a plus if you have already gained some experience as a mechanic, for example through internships. The most important thing is that you work accurately, want to continue developing yourself, and have strong communication skills;

• You enjoy working in a team where collaboration and customer satisfaction are highly valued;

• Proficiency in the Dutch or English language;

• Full-time availability (4 days is negotiable);

• A completed MBO 2 automotive technician education is a plus;

• Experience with the VPS system is a plus, but not required.
