Car mechanic in the Netherlands

For our Van Mossel Renault Dacia location in Dordrecht, we are looking for a mechanic with electrotechnical knowledge to strengthen our workshop.

In this position, you will work together with a team of 11 colleagues on the maintenance, diagnosis, and repair of our customers' vehicles. Due to the increasing focus on electrification and the growth of our battery repair centre, you will increasingly deal with electrical systems, hybrid vehicles, and (high-voltage) batteries.

You will work in a modern workshop with the latest diagnostic and repair equipment. You will primarily work on Renault and Dacia models, but due to our premium service, also regularly on other brands. This ensures plenty of variety in your workday.

Your responsibilities include

• Performing inspections, maintenance, and repairs on vehicles and (electronic) systems;

• Diagnosing faults, with an emphasis on electrical and electronic components;

• Working on (or supporting) activities within our battery repair centre;

• Providing feedback on performed work to the service advisor, so that the customer is well informed.

We preferably seek a (first-class) auto mechanic with demonstrable electrotechnical knowledge or experience with EV/hybrid technology. Even if you have recently completed your MBO automotive technology education and have an interest in electrotechnics and developing in this field, we invite you to respond.

You are accurate, eager to learn, and enjoy working in a team where collaboration and quality are central. Additionally, you recognize yourself in the following:

• You have an affinity for electrotechnics in vehicles (or want to develop in this area);

• You have at least a completed MBO 3 automotive technician education;

• You are available full-time;

• You are proficient in the Dutch or English language.
