Amsterdam, 32 to 40 hours | Please note: Fluency in Dutch is a mandatory requirement for this role
At Urban Arrow, we don't just build electric cargo bikes; we are an icon on the road, creating solutions that make cities cleaner, quieter, and more livable. To realize our international ambition and take our Supply Chain to the next level, we are looking for a strong Supply Planner.
Urban Arrow is proudly part of Pon, one of the Netherlands' largest and most well-known family businesses and a global top player in the field of mobility. This offers you the best of both worlds: you experience the dynamism, innovation, and informal atmosphere of a leading bicycle brand, while simultaneously benefiting from the stability, enormous impact, and global network of a renowned multinational.
You breathe our vision: creating neighborhoods where families leave the car behind and experience the freedom of two wheels. As a Supply Planner, you take full ownership of the direction of our tactical production planning (Trust to Act). You look 1 to 2 years ahead, anticipate trends, and thus guarantee the availability of our premium cargo bikes.
Supply & Requirements Planning: You draw up the supply plan for our production locations in Amsterdam and Lithuania and monitor progress. You guarantee the availability of our bicycles, without unnecessary inventory buildup. Are bottlenecks in sight? Then you come up with pragmatic solutions (Passion to Perform) and ensure that the planning aligns flawlessly with available parts and manpower. In doing so, you are able to find the optimal solution for bottlenecks together with our commercial team. Risk management and anticipating challenges is your second nature.
S&OP expertise: Together with the Demand Planner, you are the central link between Sales and Production. Within the monthly S&OP process, you are the driving force: you translate commercial demand into a feasible Master Production Schedule (MPS). You actively manage KPIs such as material risks and provide management with strategic advice based on scenario analysis.
Inventory Management & NPI guidance: As a smart inventory planner, you minimize the risk of obsolete inventory by working closely with Design & Development. You integrate NPI planning (New Product Introductions) into the S&OP process and guide the 'phase-in' and 'phase-out' of bicycles. In this, you always act honestly, sustainably, and with an eye on the long term (Care & Act Responsibly).
Stakeholder Management: You interface effectively with D&D, Production, and Logistics. You carefully weigh all interests and forge them into one clear production plan based on consensus.
Data Stewardship & Dashboards: You are the analytical expert who converts complex data from SAP into usable dashboards to make our supply chain performance measurable. You manage planning parameters and master data so that our systems always reflect reality, and you optimize our planning logic.
You are accurate, work methodically, and communicate easily and positively.
