Junior Service Monteur Control Systems (fulltime)

As a Junior Service Monteur Control Systems, you will get the chance to develop into a technical expert, under the guidance of experienced colleagues. You will support your team and ensure that our advanced electrotechnical control systems on ships function properly, which is essential for the performance of our thrusters. Your work will take you to various locations, both nationally and internationally, and you will get the opportunity to discover new technologies and further expand your knowledge.

In this role, you will fulfill a diverse range of tasks and be an indispensable member of our team. You are responsible for commissioning systems, troubleshooting, advising customers, and building and testing electrotechnical systems in our workshop. Additionally, you will provide detailed work orders and reports.

During an extensive induction period, you will learn the activities step by step, under the guidance of the Service Coordinator and experienced colleagues. Within our team, we find open communication and knowledge sharing very important. You will get to know different departments, such as the test chamber, R&D, and production. This way, you will get to know the entire company well and stay involved in the latest developments.

We are looking for a motivated junior with an eager-to-learn and customer-oriented attitude. You have an interest in technology and enjoy learning in practice, with the right guidance. You don't need to know everything yet - more important is that you are willing to develop and show initiative.

Additionally:

• you have an MBO+ working and thinking level in Electrotechnics or a similar field.
• you have at least 1 year of work experience in a similar technical (service) position.
• you are proficient in Dutch, English, and preferably also German (spoken and written).
• you are willing to work abroad regularly for periods (a few days to two weeks) and participate in on-call services.
