What we're looking for
- At least a completed Bachelor's degree, preferably in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations, or Business Administration.
- At least 7 years of experience within transport, logistics, or supply chain management.
- Demonstrable leadership experience in an international environment.
- Experience with Transportation Management Systems (TMS).
- Knowledge of carrier management, contract negotiations, and freight spend management.
- Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
- Strong analytical skills and experience with data-driven decision-making.
- Excellent communication skills in English.

Do you want to shape the global transportation strategy of an international market leader?

As Senior Manager Global Transportation, you are responsible for the performance of our transportation activities within EMEA, APAC, and LATAM, and you play a key role in the further digitalization, standardization, and optimization of our global supply chain.
In this key role, you will not only manage the daily logistics operation but also play a crucial role in the further professionalization and digitalization of our global transportation organization.
As Senior Manager Global Transportation, you are responsible for developing, implementing, and executing the international transportation strategy. You work closely with logistics partners, commercial teams, supply chain, operations, and IT to establish an efficient, scalable, and future-proof transportation organization.
What you'll do
- Leading global transportation activities within EMEA, APAC, and LATAM.
- Developing and implementing logistics strategies and improvement programs.
- Responsibility for international transportation flows via road transport, air freight, sea freight, parcel, and intermodal solutions.
- Responsible for transportation activities in more than 30 countries.
- Management of a global logistics network with a spend of over $180 million.
- Leading an international team of logistics specialists.
- Strategic collaboration with suppliers, carriers, and internal executives.
- Selecting, contracting, and managing international carriers and logistics service providers.
- Rolling out and optimizing a global Transportation Management System (TMS).
- Developing KPIs, dashboards, and analyses to make performance visible.
- Achieving cost savings and efficiency improvements within the transportation chain.
