What we're looking for
- At least 2 years of demonstrable experience in developing and implementing generative AI and agentic solutions, including AI agents, LLMs, agent orchestration, and API integrations;
- Experience with Copilot Studio and/or Microsoft Foundry;
- You understand how to use prompts, instructions, and logic to make an agent function effectively;
Education & certifications
- A completed HBO (higher professional education) degree, preferably in an IT field;
Languages
- You are communicatively and analytically strong, can translate work processes into practical AI solutions, and have a good command of the Dutch language in speech and writing.

What you'll get
- A permanent contract and a salary between €4,000 and €6,500 gross per month (based on 40 hours per week, employment at least 32 hours).

What you'll do
Do you want to build the next generation of AI solutions and help organizations make the leap toward agentic working?
Within the Microsoft Area of Sopra Steria, you will work alongside experienced Microsoft professionals on innovative AI solutions for organizations within defense, the public sector, financial services, and industry. As an AI Agent Engineer, you will work at the intersection of technology and consultancy, helping organizations to practically apply the possibilities of AI.
You will work with the latest developments within the Microsoft AI ecosystem, including Copilot Studio or Microsoft Foundry and Azure AI Search, and will receive plenty of room to experiment and further develop yourself within agentic AI.
What will you do?
As an AI Agent Engineer, you will engage in conversations with clients about their work processes and challenges. You will discover where AI can make a difference and translate these use cases into smart agents that support employees and make tasks simpler and more efficient.
You are involved from the first idea and prototype to the building, testing, and further development of the agent. In doing so, you will work extensively with Copilot Studio or Microsoft Foundry and experiment with new possibilities within Generative and agentic AI.
