You will work on one of the most complex and critical IT infrastructures in the Netherlands. As a Senior Network Engineer at Solvinity, you will take daily responsibility for a high-availability, multi-datacenter environment that must function 24/7. You will work with Enterprise technology such as Palo Alto, F5 BIG-IP, and Infoblox DDI, and solve problems that others struggle to tackle. This is no standard network job. This is technically challenging work at the highest level, in a team of driven specialists who are just as serious about their craft as you are.
You will be part of a specialized team that develops, optimizes, and manages the IT infrastructure of a large government organization. The environment is exceptionally large and complex: systems are deeply interwoven, the scale is enormous, and downtime is simply not an option. You will advance the team with your specialist knowledge and sharp analytical eye.
You will take on projects, support complex incidents and migrations, and contribute to technical designs at an Enterprise level. Concretely, this means:
· Configuring and managing Palo Alto firewalls and F5 BIG-IP load balancers.
· Implementing and monitoring security standards in an environment with high security requirements.
· Translating functional issues into suitable technical solutions, together with architects.
· Investigating and resolving complex network problems.
· Actively sharing knowledge and contributing to technical documentation.
In addition to your regular work, you will participate in standby shifts. The environment requires continuous availability, and you understand what that entails.
You are a seasoned network specialist who thrives in Enterprise environments. You know the depths of complex infrastructures and know how to analyze, prioritize, and resolve. You are analytically strong, proactive, and communicatively skilled. You switch effortlessly between technicians and stakeholders and quickly master new knowledge and techniques.
