The role
Do you know better than anyone else what is happening in the world of music, dance, and culture, and do you know how to appeal to young people between the ages of 18 and 24? In the role of Culture Marketing Manager, you share responsibility with the Culture Marketing Specialists for the brand experience among youth. You develop new concepts—in music, dance, and beyond—and organize these together with the team and in collaboration with other departments.
You are part of the Marketing Management team, in which you contribute strategically to how we get consumers moving. Additionally, you maintain close contact with the headquarters in Austria regarding international collaborations and concept development. You also have a duty to bring and take case studies and ideas.
We want to reach more consumers (18–49 years old) who consume us more frequently at multiple moments when they need energy. In this role, you are responsible for developing a strategy for the next three to five years on how we can keep the world of dance, music, and culture relevant for our brand and product. Within this, you are able to weigh investments against the desired consumer impact.
What you'll do
A large part of the function consists of being responsible, together with the Culture Marketing Specialists, for organizing multiple existing or new initiatives. Examples of these include: Red Bull SoundClash, Red Bull Symphonic, Red Bull BC One, Red Bull Dance Your Style, and the artist component of formats such as Red Bull Rap Champs.
This requires a strong project management approach and a good network of experts who can deliver quality.
To remain relevant as a brand, it is of great importance to collaborate with experts in the playgrounds and communities in which we are active. Building, further expanding, and maintaining a rich network is an essential part of this role and of the department, in which ‘giving wings’ is always central.
You bear responsibility for two specialists and, as the Culture Marketing team, you are at the heart of the Marketing team and the organization. You develop the individuals in your team, coach, and set priorities. Additionally, you stimulate collaboration, creation, and execution with the other teams within the organization.
Together, we investigate how we can ‘give wings’ to Red Bull dancers to get the best out of their talent. The support we offer ranges from supporting their own projects to offering support in the Athletes Performance Center.
We are also active in the music world and have intensive contact with artists. As a department, you know better than anyone how to interface with artists and sense how we, as a brand, can offer added value to their artistic talent.
