The role
Good tax advice goes beyond providing the right answer. It is about understanding where an entrepreneur or organization wants to go, looking ahead, and translating tax issues into solutions that work in practice. As a Tax Advisor at Newtone, you will get the space to make that difference. You will work for diverse clients, dive into current and complex tax issues, and increasingly become the person the client can brainstorm with regarding the next step. In addition, you will receive a great deal of freedom to contribute your own ideas and to further develop yourself as an advisor.
What you'll do
You will enter an environment in which taxation never stands alone. After all, a tax question can directly impact entrepreneurship, financing, personnel, transactions, or the future of an organization. That is why you work closely with colleagues from different disciplines. You have contact with clients, discuss issues, and think along about solutions. You identify developments before they become a problem and see opportunities where others might not yet be thinking. As you grow in your role, you will receive more and more space to act independently as a sparring partner. You build sustainable client relationships, take responsibility for your own files, and share your knowledge with colleagues.
- Clients can come to you for diverse tax issues; you are a trusted and expert point of contact for them.
- You know how to fathom complex tax issues and translate laws and regulations into practical and understandable advice.
- More complex corporate income tax returns and high-quality advisory documents also belong to your duties.
- You identify tax opportunities and risks in a timely manner and proactively bring them to the client's attention.
- In collaboration with tax specialists, accountants, and other specialists, you view issues from different perspectives.
- You keep a close eye on current tax developments and translate them into the practice of our clients.
- Knowledge sharing is high on the agenda: you actively contribute to the development of the team and share your expertise with colleagues.
