3 to 4 years of experience in sales within the public sector
Experience with pre-sales activities

Demonstrable experience with the full European tender process: knowing how to write a winning proposal

What you'll get

Depending on your experience, a gross monthly salary between € 5,735 and € 7,455 based on full-time employment.
26 vacation days and 8% holiday allowance.

The role

As a Business Development Manager within the Public team at Netcompany Netherlands, you ensure that we win more tenders and secure projects within the public sector. You are a true hunter: you find opportunities before they are common knowledge, build a network within government organizations, and are able to translate opportunities into actual prospects that result in successful tenders.

The Public team is growing. You will play an active role in that growth and contribute ideas on how we can further expand our client portfolio within Public and grow in this sector. You will work closely with colleagues from sales, marketing, and the delivery teams, and will be given plenty of room to establish your own approach.

What you'll do

Identify and actively approach new opportunities and clients within the public sector
Generate qualitative leads via networking, email, telephone, and LinkedIn
Secure, write, and submit tenders, from initial signaling to registration
Organize and attend events to build and maintain your network
Set up targeted outreach campaigns together with marketing
Track progress in our CRM and report on it
Contribute ideas regarding market research and customer segmentation
