Internship Sales - Pet Nutrition Europe

Team: Grocery Team (Pet Nutrition)

Context: A full working internship within the commercial department. The intern fully participates in the daily operations and supports the team in both operational and analytical processes.

Collaboration: The intern works very closely with the Account Supports and Key Account Managers (KAMs). Additionally, there is a lot of interaction with the Supply and Marketing departments.

Tasks & Projects

Supporting the operational process and acting as a liaison between the customer, supply chain, and internal organization.

Performing weekly and ad-hoc turnover analyses.

Actively collaborating on various commercial analyses to identify business opportunities.

Main Mission

Providing operational and analytical support to the Grocery Pet Nutrition team to ensure daily customer processes and business optimization run smoothly.

Tasks

Operational:

The linchpin: Liaising between the customer, Supply, and Marketing to ensure ongoing matters are smoothly coordinated.

Monitoring: Following up on and monitoring ongoing actions/promotions and daily turnover.

Customer inquiries: Supporting the fast and correct handling of various customer requests.

Team support: Working closely with and assisting the Account Supports and KAMs.

Analytical:

Promo analysis: Evaluating the results and effectiveness of completed promotions.

Turnover analysis: Performing ad-hoc turnover analyses to map out commercial performance.
