What we're looking for

You are technically strong, eager to learn, and have a passion for cars and new technology. Additionally, you work accurately and enjoy collaborating within a professional team.

Furthermore, you possess:

A completed Automotive Technician education level 2, 3, or 4;
Experience as a car mechanic or automotive technician;
Experience in performing diagnostics and resolving technical faults;
Driving license B;
Interest in electric vehicles and sustainable mobility;
A proactive and customer-oriented attitude;
Good command of the Dutch language. English is a plus.

What you'll get

Salary based on 38 hours, matching your experience
At 40 hours: choice between accruing ADV hours or having them paid out
- Full-time = 104 ADV hours per year
24 vacation days + option to purchase 2 additional weeks
8% holiday allowance, paid monthly

- Louwman pays 17.7%, you pay 10.28%

What you'll do

As an Automotive Technician at BYD Rotterdam, you ensure that our customers stay on the road safely and without worry. You perform maintenance, repairs, and diagnostics on the latest generation of electric and Plug-in Hybrid vehicles.

Your responsibilities include

Performing maintenance services and repairs on BYD vehicles;
Performing diagnostics and resolving technical faults;
Working with the latest software, diagnostic tools, and vehicle technologies;
Performing updates and technical improvements;
Supporting and guiding less experienced colleagues;
Advising customers on maintenance and technical specifics;
Thinking along about improvements within the workshop and service processes.

You will work daily with innovative technology and receive plenty of opportunities to further develop yourself within the rapidly growing world of electric mobility.
