The role

Do you want to work in the newest JYSK distribution center in Lelystad? We offer a dynamic workplace where personal development, engagement, and team spirit are a priority. From Lelystad, we deliver JYSK products to the stores in the Netherlands and Belgium. The distribution center has a total area of 60,000 m2 with space for 21,500 pallet positions. Will you come and strengthen our team, which is still growing?

What you'll do

As a logistics assistant, you play an important role in ensuring a professional and efficient flow of goods in the distribution center. This results in high delivery reliability towards the stores. Your package of tasks looks like this:

Unloading trucks and containers, after which you place the goods in the correct location in the warehouse
Checking incoming goods
Order picking using a scanner
Preparing pallets for shipment
Loading trucks
Adhering to our JYSK values; Tradesman, Colleague, and Corporate spirit.

If you already have experience in logistics, that is a plus. If not, we will teach you the ropes of the trade. At JYSK, we attach great value to enthusiastic employees.

You are a helpful colleague who contributes to a good atmosphere in the team;
You take that extra step to get the job done when it is busy;
You have a forklift/reach truck certificate or are willing to obtain one;
Flexible to perform various tasks;
Available to work from 06:00 to 15:00 or 15:00 to 00:00;
You have the possibility to drive to the location of the Distribution Center at your own discretion;
You speak the Dutch and/or the English language.
