Supply Chain Planner | DSL-01

Work with one of the first large-scale SAF plants in Europe. You will contribute to the construction of DSL-01 in Delfzijl: a plant focused on the production of Sustainable Aviation Fuel and by-products.

You will become part of an experienced team in which your expertise contributes directly to a safe and successful realization of the project.

About the role

As a Supply Chain Planner, you will get the chance to help build the supply chain of DSL-01 from the ground up. Your work helps lay the foundation for a reliable operation of one of Europe's first large-scale production facilities for Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF).

You are joining a growing organization at a unique moment.

Before the start of the plant:

• You will help build the DSL-01 supply chain organization, including the processes, systems, and working methods required for operational readiness.

• You will contribute to the setup of ERP systems, supply chain processes, and the preparation of a safe, reliable, and efficient operation.

After the start of the plant:

• You will play an important role in the daily supply chain operation, from raw material and production planning to coordination with suppliers and customers.

• Together with internal and external stakeholders, you will ensure a stable supply chain that supports safe and continuous production.

• Developing and maintaining production, supply, and offtake plans for the short, medium, and long term.

• Translating production needs into material requirements and coordinating availability with suppliers, Procurement, and sourcing teams.

• Coordinating planning between Production, Engineering, Maintenance, Procurement, and commercial stakeholders.

• Identifying risks, disruptions, and capacity constraints and developing appropriate scenarios and solutions.

• Providing analyses and insights to support the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process.

• Actively contributing to the design, validation, and optimization of ERP systems and supply chain processes.

• Supporting processes surrounding traceability, certification, and mass balancing.

• Initiating and leading improvements in the areas of planning, systems, and working methods.

• Acting as the subject matter expert for complex planning issues during operational readiness and the startup of the plant.

Your profile

You are analytically strong, take ownership, and feel comfortable in an environment where not everything is yet fixed. You are able to bring different interests together and dare to make decisions when information is limited or incomplete.

• HBO (Higher Professional Education) level of work and thinking.

• At least 5 years of experience as a Supply Planner, Production Planner, Material Planner, or in a similar role within a production environment.

• A strong understanding of supply chain processes and ERP systems.

• Excellent analytical skills and the ability to translate insights into actions and decision-making.

• A proactive, result-oriented attitude and a strong sense of ownership.

• Experience with stakeholder management in a complex operational environment.

• The ability to set priorities and make decisions under uncertainty.

• Good command of Dutch and English.

• Experience within the process and manufacturing industry.

• Experience with ERP implementations, system setup, or user acceptance testing.

• Experience with the startup of new production sites or operational organizations.

• Knowledge of traceability, certification, mass balancing, dangerous goods, or waste management.

In Delfzijl, we are building DSL-01, a SkyNRG plant for renewable fuels. Here, we produce Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) from waste streams such as used fats and oils, using HEFA technology. Additionally, we produce by-products such as butane, propane, and naphtha.

DSL-01 will be the first plant in Europe fully focused on SAF and associated sustainable by-products. Once the plant is operational, we will produce 100,000 tons of SAF and 35,000 tons of by-products annually. With this, we reduce greenhouse gas emissions by approximately 80% compared to fossil kerosene, measured across the entire chain.

Construction started in 2026 and the first production is planned for 2028. The project includes the plant itself, associated pipelines, and temporary work sites. You will contribute directly to the realization of a new industrial plant and the sustainability of aviation.

We work according to international standards and Dutch laws and regulations to carefully manage the impact on people, nature, and the environment. Safety, sustainability, and collaboration are central to this.

DSL-01 is in full development. This applies not only to the plant but also to the organization and the employment conditions. Our HR team is working on a suitable and market-competitive package for the location in Delfzijl.
