A solid medical background - you don't need to be explained what a diagnosis means
An independent, result-oriented way of working
Excellent communication skills in Dutch
WFT certification is a plus

What you'll do

As a Medior Medical Underwriter, you are an independent and experienced force within our medical underwriting team. You assess complex disability insurance (AOV) applications, work closely with medical specialists, and actively contribute to the quality and optimization of our processes. You require little supervision - you take on your work and execute it. In return, we offer you the flexibility that goes with it.

What you will do

Independently assessing disability insurance applications, including complex medical files
Sparring on content with medical specialists regarding complex cases
Identifying bottlenecks in processes and actively contributing to improvements
Thinking along about the further development of the medical underwriting policy
Acting as a point of contact for junior colleagues where necessary
