Requirements

What we're looking for

  • HBO (higher professional education) level of work and thinking;
  • experience as a Data Analyst, BI specialist, or in a similar role;
  • experience with Power BI and building reports and dashboards;
  • knowledge of data models, datasets, and data analysis;
  • the ability to explain technical information in an understandable way;
  • a proactive, analytical, and collaborative working attitude.

The role

Data that matters! And that also applies to HumanKind itself; we continue to develop.

At Humankind, we believe that children should be given the space to grow, discover, and develop themselves. Behind every good decision lies reliable information. That is why we are looking for a Data Specialist who converts data into insights and helps colleagues make better choices.

Are you curious, analytical, and do you know how to make complex information understandable? Do you get energy from conversations with users, building dashboards, and discovering trends? Then we would love to meet you.

This is who you are. By nature.

You don't just see numbers, but especially the stories behind them. You are curious about the question behind the question and enjoy investigating together with colleagues which information helps them further. You switch easily between technology, analysis, and advice and know how to convey results clearly.

What you'll do

As a Data Specialist, you are the connecting link between data, ICT, and the business. You work closely with colleagues from across the entire organization and translate information needs into dashboards, reports, and management information that are actually used.

Your responsibilities include, among other things:

  • collaborating with colleagues from Control, Planning, ICT, and other departments;
  • developing, managing, and improving dashboards and reports in Power BI;
  • retrieving and translating information needs from managers and colleagues;
  • analyzing datasets, data models, and data sources;
  • identifying trends, deviations, and opportunities for improvement;
  • advising on KPIs and management information for effective decision-making;
  • contributing to reliable and unambiguous management information;
  • supporting the further development of data-driven working within Humankind;
  • acting as a sparring partner for users in the field of data and reports.

We offer you

We are innovators with a dream. A child who grows up to be a strong adult makes our world more beautiful. That is why we have only one goal: the optimal growth and flourishing of every child. We are open to differences, are curious about each other, and learn something new every day. In this way, we offer children a safe foundation to flourish into strong adults. You can help with that. With your passion, insights, and your heart for children. Because you count!

Meaningful work at a social provider of childcare. Our organization stands for quality, reliability, resilience, and resourcefulness. In addition to a professional team in which you can make a difference, we offer:

  • Attention to your own development and growth as a person and a professional.
  • A salary in Scale 11, CAO Kinderopvang, between € 4352,- and € 6028,- gross per month based on a 36-hour work week.
  • Hybrid working. You will receive a home office allowance of € 2.45 per day from us.
  • Year-end bonus (8%) and a decent travel allowance.
  • Discounts on various outings and products, see here.
  • Access to your own JijTelt-shop, where you can use your points to choose from all kinds of handy or beautiful treats.
  • A thorough and, above all, fun induction program. Including a super cool "Welcome Day" to welcome you as a new colleague within our organization.

And of course the loveliest colleagues!

You count!

We are curious about you! What gives you energy, what are you good at, and what are your (work) wishes and ambitions? We would love to meet you.
