As Assistant Store Manager at Hubo Sint Hubert, you have an important role within the team. You are *the* point of contact for your colleagues. Are you approached by a customer in the store in between tasks? Then you naturally speak to the customer kindly and provide professional advice regarding their DIY plans. Thanks to your cheerful, sincere, and service-oriented attitude, all customers go home with a smile. In this versatile position, you also ensure good planning, are responsible for the (financial) administration, receive suppliers, and ensure a streamlined goods receipt. Overall, you maintain close contact with the Store Manager.

You walk into the store and start the day together with your colleagues with a cup of coffee. You start everything up so that the store can open at 09:00.

09:00

The first customers are at the door and you ensure that your colleagues can get to work.

11:15

You are approached by a customer and help with making a key and mixing paint.

12:00

The half-hour lunch breaks can begin! You ensure that everyone rotates properly so that a colleague always remains available in the store for the customers.

After eating a delicious sandwich, you guide and support your colleagues who are busy processing the online orders.

You get to work on some administrative tasks and discuss the new plans for the shop floor together with the Store Manager.

A new delivery has arrived. You direct the right colleagues so that this delivery is processed correctly in the system and in the store.

Hubo delivers its own orders and you check if everything went well today. Perhaps one last order can still go out the door?

You direct everyone to tidy up their workstation. Meanwhile, the last customers are being helped.

You close the store, you count the cash registers, and ensure that everything is stored away safely. Lights out and tomorrow is a new day!
