The role
Do you love helping people further, relying on your highly developed commercial sense? Do you feel completely at home on the shop floor? Are you customer-friendly, eager to learn, and willing to exceed yourself time and again by thinking in opportunities and solutions? Then you are exactly what we are looking for. In this versatile part-time position (24-32 hours) you help customers at the checkout with payments and handling inquiries. You will also take care of all additional tasks involved with the service desk. We offer a market-conform salary, excellent secondary employment conditions, and opportunities to follow training courses.
This is what your day could look like:
09:00
The store opens. You start the cash register and help the first customers with checking out.
10:30
There is a customer who wants to have a key made. You get to work on this.
11:00
Time for a cup of coffee. You head to the canteen and take a seat for a moment, while a colleague takes over the counter from you.
11:15
While you are busy checking out items, a customer comes up to you who wants to return an item. You help them with this.
13:00
The day flies by and you start to get hungry. You go to the canteen. A number of colleagues are already sitting there having lunch and you join them for a chat.
13:30
A number of products in the store have had a price change. You print the new price tags and place them in the store.
16:15
While you are standing behind the counter, customers regularly come to you with questions and to check out products.
18:00
The day is done, time to go home!
