As a Senior People Operations Specialist, you are the first point of contact for the team and stakeholders when resolving complex (ad hoc) employee cases and questions. Where many questions can be answered by anyone, you are the one who thinks just one step further: you see the broader context, make connections, and thus prevent larger problems. Together with the People Operations team leader, you are responsible for major (improvement) projects such as the implementation of a new workforce management system, pay transparency, the collective increases (minimum wage law) for many HEMA colleagues, and the processing surrounding performance and appraisal rounds. You also contribute to the successful completion of audits and are an important sparring partner for a large number of (senior) stakeholders within HEMA. Your playing field as a Senior People Operations Specialist is therefore enormous. Additionally, a large number of HEMA colleagues and a great diversity of HR issues provide a beautiful challenge in executing HR policy and managing personnel administration. • You work on smooth onboarding, internal movement, and offboarding administration, identifying bottlenecks and independently coming up with improvement proposals.
• No HR-related question is too crazy for you. Via our ticketing system, the telephone, or at your desk. You navigate all layers of the organization, are service-oriented, and tackle these questions with a smile.
• Regarding projects, you contribute to thinking about communication, planning, and feasibility at the front end, test system changes, and ultimately carry out the processing independently.
• You conduct substantive conversations with stakeholders such as people partners and HR colleagues, understanding their interests, taking your own position, and arriving at a workable solution together.

• You build and maintain the relationship between the People Operations team and our stakeholders, so that we remain mutually informed and collaborate optimally.
