Requirements

What we're looking for

  • 5+ years of experience as a software developer, with strong PHP knowledge (preferably Laravel)

  • Extensive experience with REST APIs, relational databases, and scalable backend architecture, including caching and messaging (e.g., Redis, RabbitMQ)

  • You take technical ownership and support other developers in an Agile team

  • You speak fluent Dutch and English

Nice to have

  • Experience with or interest in AI-driven development methods

An advantage if you have experience with NextJS, Docker, Kubernetes, Azure (AKS), CI/CD, Terraform or ArgoCD, or have an interest in AI-supported development.

The role

We are looking for a Senior Developer who wants to take technical responsibility for systems used by motorists and enforcement officers in the Netherlands. Will you join our team and help us build the solution that keeps cities moving?

About the role
As a Senior Developer, you will play an important role in the development of our SaaS application and its architecture. You will work closely with our product and development team and with colleagues from Giant Leap in Norway. Together, you will design and deliver secure, scalable, and reliable solutions for our customers in the Dutch public sector.

What you'll do

Your day
Your day begins with a short stand-up. After that, you are primarily hands-on: you build features in PHP and Laravel, review code, and help other developers translate customer needs into solid solutions.
Motorists and enforcement officers in Dutch cities use what you build every day. Your work has a real, visible impact on society, and that is why we make no compromises on quality.
