Step in as a Junior Software Developer in a world where mathematics, technology, and financial services converge. Where pension calculations are translated into smart software and where you help build solutions that assist pension advisors in making reliable decisions.
As a Junior Software Developer, you will work together with experienced colleagues on the development of software and calculation models for the pension world. Behind every pension advice lie calculations that must be reliable. You will help build the software with which pension professionals perform these calculations and substantiate their advice.
You will learn how calculation rules are translated into software and contribute ideas for solutions to client questions. You do not need to have knowledge of pensions or actuarial science yet; we are happy to teach you that. You will start with manageable assignments and receive increasing responsibility as you grow.
Developing and maintaining software and calculation components in C#/.NET and Excel.
Translating mathematical formulas and calculation rules into reliable and well-maintainable code.
Building new functionalities and improving existing applications.
Testing and checking calculations, comparing results, and investigating discrepancies.
Collaborating on client projects and translating client questions into suitable software solutions.
Collaborating with experienced developers and specialists who will help you get to know the field.
In short: you combine programming with analytical thinking and develop yourself step by step into a developer with specialist knowledge of financial software and pension calculations.
At TJIP, you will get the space to learn, grow, and make an impact within a people-oriented organization where fun and professionalism come together.
Experience with the pension world or actuarial software is not required. If you have a good foundation in programming and love learning new things, we will help you develop further.
Are you ready to further develop yourself as a software developer and does it appeal to you to apply your technical knowledge within an interesting field? Then we would love to meet you!
Apply directly or contact Linda van der Meer and Ellis Slot via recruitment@tjip.com or WhatsApp at 015 789 0732.
We will contact you within seven days. Are we both enthusiastic? Then we will plan two conversations: an introductory meeting and a technical interview.
Are we a match? Then we will make you a great offer and look forward to welcoming you as a new TJIP'er!
