C# Developer

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• 3+ years of professional experience in C# development
• Experience with .NET (preferably the latest versions)
• Knowledge of SQL Server and database management
• Experience with Git, Azure DevOps, and CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with APIs and backend development (frontend is less relevant, but knowledge of e.g. Blazor is a plus)
• Experience with unit testing / integration testing
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Knowledge of Agile development methodologies
• The ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, collaborative environment

• A gross monthly salary up to €5500 based on full-time (full-time work week is 38.16 hours)

Eurofins Milieu is a leading player in the field of environmental research in the Netherlands and Belgium. With our accredited laboratories, we perform daily chemical, physical, and biological analyses in various environmental matrices. We are looking for a talented C# Developer to strengthen our dynamic team in Barneveld. As a C# Developer, you are responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software applications using C# and the .NET framework.

Currently, for example, we are working on developing a completely new software suite and further automation of our laboratory.

Please note: as of June 2026, our office will move from Barneveld to Amersfoort.

• Designing, developing, and implementing robust and scalable software solutions using C# and .NET (latest versions)
• Working on backend-driven applications, including API connections and integrations
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions
• Writing clean, efficient, and well-documented code according to best practices (SOLID/design patterns)
• Performing code reviews and working with pull requests within a Git-based environment
• Working with CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps) for deployments and releases
• Ensuring code quality via, among other things, unit tests, integration tests, and tools such as SonarQube
• Troubleshooting, debugging, and optimizing performance
