Civil Engineering Site Manager

• mbo or hbo work and thinking level, preferably in civil engineering, earth, road, and hydraulic engineering (GWW) or similar;

• Minimum 2+ years of work experience as a site manager in earthworks, road, and hydraulic engineering (GWW);

• Be able to take responsibility for the daily management of the execution or site manager(s) of one or more (complex) projects, so that activities are realized safely, qualitatively, and according to planning and budget;

• Find it a challenge to empower employees so that they continue to develop and the entire team continues to grow;

• The salary for this position is between € 4,291.63 and € 6,256.71 gross per month (based on 40 hours)*, excluding 8% holiday allowance. The exact salary depends on your knowledge, level, and relevant work experience;

• On top of the salary comes a fixed amount for the Sustainable Employability Budget for things that contribute to staying healthy and motivated (2.3% according to the Bouw & Infra collective labor agreement);

• With an eye toward a long-term relationship, we offer you an indefinite contract immediately;

• 43 leave days according to the Bouw & Infra collective labor agreement. Of these days, 13 are paid out in your individual budget; you can choose to buy these days back;

At Dura Vermeer Infra, we are looking for an experienced site manager who takes the lead on the construction site. You ensure that everything runs smoothly: from managing teams and subcontractors to monitoring planning, quality, and safety. You are the point of contact on location and ensure that our projects are realized according to agreement: efficiently, safely, and sustainably.

As an experienced civil engineering site manager, you are responsible for the daily operations on the infrastructure project. You:

• Lead the execution team and manage subcontractors and skilled tradespeople;

• Ensure that activities are carried out according to planning, budget, and quality standards;

• Monitor safety and compliance with VCA and other regulations;

• Supervise progress and report to the project manager;

• Resolve bottlenecks and contribute ideas for practical and sustainable solutions;

• Maintain contact with the client, suppliers, and internal teams;

• Ensure correct administration of hours, materials, and progress;

• Stimulate collaboration and a positive working atmosphere on the construction site.

Which projects will you execute?

Projects with sustainable and innovative perspectives (such as CO₂ reduction, circular application, digitalization). Projects with integral chain cooperation and the management of sub-projects within management-maintenance contracts (DBFM / D&C). Our projects include: major asphalt maintenance for the Municipality of Almere, sewage framework contract for the Municipality of Huizen, maintenance and new construction at Airport Lelystad, and infrastructure construction for Inditex (ZARA) industrial halls.
