As a civil works supervisor, do you want to help build a complex rail and inner-city infrastructure project at Dura Vermeer Infra Landelijke Projecten? For PHS Nijmegen, we are working on the expansion and renewal of Nijmegen station. While thousands of passengers continue to use the station daily, we are realizing new platforms, rail infrastructure, a new west entrance, and improving the accessibility of the city.
As a civil works supervisor, you are responsible for the daily management of the civil works within PHS Nijmegen. You are the connecting link between preparation and execution and ensure that works are carried out safely, according to schedule, and with the desired quality.
You lead the execution team, manage subcontractors, and maintain close contact with colleagues, clients, and other involved parties. Due to the complex inner-city environment and the works around an operational station, no two days are the same. That is exactly what makes this project unique.
In addition to execution, you actively participate in thinking along during the preparation of works. You identify opportunities, solve bottlenecks before they arise, and contribute to an efficient and safe execution of the project. Safety is always number one.
Dura Vermeer is an independent family business. And you can notice that. In how we work together, look out for one another, and build with an eye for future generations. Since 1855, we have been building the Netherlands, in residential construction, utility construction, infrastructure, and technology. Our independence and long-term vision form the basis for this.
With a turnover of € 2.6 billion and over 3,700 colleagues, we are among the top of the Dutch construction sector. But ultimately, it is not about those figures for us. It is about people. About colleagues working together on projects you can be proud of—iconic and close to home—and contributing to solutions for societal issues.
Our ambitions are great. And we only achieve them with committed people. That is why we invest in good employer ship and a work environment in which you feel at home. Where you can be yourself, feel safe, and speak up. So that you get the best out of yourself and make more together with us.
You will get to work within the Execution Department of Dura Vermeer Infra Landelijke Projecten. For this project, you will work on-site at PHS Nijmegen: a large-scale project with which Nijmegen station is being prepared for the growth of train traffic. Among other things, we are realizing a new west entrance, expanding the platforms, building a new passenger tunnel, and carrying out extensive civil works in and around the tracks. All this while the station remains largely in operation. A challenging project in which collaboration, innovation, and craftsmanship are central. Dura Vermeer Infra Landelijke Projecten is the go-to party for large, multidisciplinary projects exceeding 100 million euros.
