The role

Job Req Number: 125967
Time Type: Full Time

Are you someone who maintains an overview, switches gears quickly, and gets energy from coordinating transports? Are you looking for a varied position in which no two days are the same? Then this role as a transport coordinator at DSV in Venlo is for you.

What you'll do

Within our transport organization, you are responsible for monitoring and coordinating transports throughout Europe. You constantly maintain an overview, communicate with drivers, customers, and colleagues, and ensure that everything runs according to plan: you contribute to making it happen.

How do you do this? You are continuously busy tracking transports, resolving deviations, and informing the parties involved. When a transport runs differently than planned, you are the one who acts quickly and comes up with a suitable solution. You achieve this by:

  • monitoring transports and shipments within Europe;
  • maintaining contact with customers, drivers, and transport partners;
  • identifying and resolving deviations and delays;
  • ensuring correct administrative follow-up of transports;
  • contributing to optimal service towards our customers

You bring

  • affinity with transport and logistics;
  • a structured and solution-oriented way of working;
  • good communication skills;
  • stress resistance and the ability to set priorities;
  • a good command of the English language

It all counts for this vacancy of transport coordinator in Venlo. Furthermore, it is of course important that you feel at home with us. That will certainly go well if you like to take charge, have courage, and want to grow with DSV.
