The role
Amsterdam - Are you on top of the news and up to date with the latest developments at home and abroad? Do you want to apply those skills at one of the largest radio stations in the Netherlands? Qmusic is looking for an experienced news editor
for the morning show. Interested? Then react quickly!
What you will do
As a news editor, you will work together with the newsreader to ensure the latest news is heard during the broadcast. What do people need to know when they wake up in the morning? Which stories will the DJs continue to discuss? You select the news, write the texts, and edit quotes. You are well-informed about current affairs and know how to summarize them flawlessly in short and catchy reports in record time.
What makes you the perfect candidate?
For this role, we are looking for an independent colleague with extensive experience in journalism. Experience at a radio program as an editor with a focus on news & current affairs is a major plus! You have your own (news) network and you have a good sense for topics that resonate with our listeners. You are a true team player, you possess a healthy dose of humor, and you love seeing the sun rise in the morning. Furthermore:
