Zwolle - Do you see news before others do? Do you prefer to approach people yourself rather than waiting for a press release? And do you tell stories not just in text, but also with imagery, video, or audio? Then we are looking for you.

De Stentor is looking for reporters for the Zwolle region and for the Flevoland/Kampen region. Journalists who are curious, take initiative, and create stories that matter.

What are you going to do?
As a regional reporter, you will work from our editorial office in Zwolle, but you will mostly be out in the field. In your municipality, you know what is happening, you build a strong network, and you are often the first to hear what is going on. You speak with residents, entrepreneurs, administrators, and organizations, and you are visible in the region. You are a news hunter. Sometimes a development needs to go online immediately. At other times, you dig deeper and create a story that shows what is truly happening.

You don't just think in text. You choose the storytelling format that best fits the story: a news report, background story, video, social post, photography, or a combination thereof. You will be given the space to try out new forms and, together with colleagues, to constantly improve the regional news. You will work closely with reporters, editors, and digital designers. Do you have a good idea? Then you will be given the space to execute it.
