Teamlead Credit Control

Do you know how to keep a Credit Control team sharp and drive them forward? For our team in Rotterdam, we are looking for an experienced Teamlead who has already made their mark in managing people. You combine solid substantive knowledge of credit control with proven leadership, and you actively participate in the daily operations yourself.

Our finance team in the Netherlands consists of 35 colleagues, divided across Accounts Payable, Banking, Credit Control, Finance & Control, Cost Control, and Invoicing. For the Credit Control team, which consists of 4 colleagues, we are looking for a new Teamlead Credit Control.

As Teamlead, you are responsible for managing the Credit Control team and you also play an active role in the daily operations. You are the pivot between team members, commercial stakeholders, and customers, and you find the right balance between customer orientation and safeguarding the financial interests of our organization.

• Managing and developing: you coach, motivate, and develop the Credit Control team.

• Reporting and managing based on figures: you prepare periodic management reports regarding debtor positions and adjust the team based on those reports.

• Reducing DSO: you monitor payment terms and ensure that debtors are informed in a timely manner.

• Debtor management: you maintain oversight of the contact with our B2B debtors and the actions taken regarding unfulfilled payment obligations, according to established procedures.

• Escalating and coordinating: in the case of complex disputes, you monitor progress and maintain contact with internal stakeholders, such as Commercial Managers and Account Managers.

• Managing credit insurance: you manage the credit insurance portfolio.

• Assessing creditworthiness: you analyze the creditworthiness of new customers and coordinate follow-up actions with Customer Service and Sales.
