Cash Control/ Finance Internship

For our Cash Control team in Rotterdam, we are looking for an intern to participate in daily cash management. You will help with the timely allocation of payments, the processing of bank statements, and the monitoring of outstanding items. You will work closely with Credit Control, Invoicing, and Accounts Payable, thereby gaining practical experience with cash application, reconciliations, and working in the ERP system Exact.

• You monitor the daily Unallocated Cash: you maintain an overview, track outstanding items, and report the most important KPIs.

• You investigate unrecognized receipts and unmatched payments and help resolve them.

• You book and process daily bank statements in Exact, for multiple bank accounts and entities (incoming and outgoing).

• You match customer receipts and supplier payments to the correct invoices.

• You assist with bank reconciliations and track down discrepancies between bank statements and the administration.

• You think along about improvements to make allocation and reconciliation more efficient.
