Safety & Health (SH) officer

You have at least a completed MBO-4 diploma in Safety Science or a completed bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as safety science, environmental science, or health sciences. Additionally, you have at least 2 - 3 years of experience at HBO level in a similar position within the process or food industry. You are a true team player, think in solutions, are accurate, and know how to set priorities. Finally, you can collaborate well, know how to make concrete plans and analyses, and implement them.

• The timely follow-up of incidents and relevant reports throughout the entire factory;

• You follow up on improvement measures resulting from incidents and reports;

• Ensuring a well-functioning reporting system following the Kaizen method;

• You carry out and maintain the necessary risk assessments such as RI&E, V&G plans, and TRA's;

• You support risk assessments regarding work permits and follow up on measures and action plans;

• You lead the SH pillar;

• You are co-responsible for drafting the SH annual plan based on RI&E's, legal obligations, incidents, and reports;

• You are responsible for the follow-up and integration of legal obligations;

• You co-contribute to the execution of the actions from the SH annual plan;

• You contribute to building an integrated management system for QESH

• You assess procedures and instructions regarding safety and health;

• You set up internal audits regarding SH and co-contribute to their execution and follow-up;

• You contribute to safety awareness through conversations, toolbox talks, and training.

As a Safety & Health (SH) Officer, you play a crucial role in ensuring a safe and healthy working environment. You are part of the QESH team and work closely with the QESH Manager, QA officers, the SHE officer, and colleagues in the Production, Engineering, and Technology departments in Zwolle. QESH stands for Quality, Environment, Safety & Health. The QESH department deals with Quality: making good and healthy products; Environment: the impact Sensus has on the environment; Safety and Health: ensuring a safe and healthy working environment. You are responsible for contributing to, implementing, and securing policies in the field of safety and health. Additionally, as an SH officer, you are responsible for the Zwolle location. You will be managed by the QESH Manager.

Work week: 24 hours per week
