• Experience: Experience in a restaurant, hotel, cocktail bar, or other hospitality environment is a plus

We are looking for you as our Waiter / Allround F&B Associate for The Gym by Sidney Schutte in The College Hotel, Autograph Collection by Marriott.

The College Hotel is a luxurious 5-star hotel and one of the hotspots of Amsterdam Oud-Zuid. The hotel is located in a stylish 19th-century building that originally served as a school in 1895. You can spend the night in what used to be the mathematics classroom, biology classroom, or perhaps the economics classroom. As a Waiter / Allround F&B Associate, you are the face of the restaurant and ensure that every guest feels welcome. You guide guests during their culinary experience, provide expert advice on dishes and drinks, and contribute to service of the highest level. Together with the team, you ensure that every guest has an unforgettable experience.

• Warmly and professionally welcome guests and guide them throughout their visit

• Taking and serving dishes and drinks according to the highest service standards

• Advising guests on dishes, wines, cocktails, and other drinks

• Ensuring perfect mise-en-place prior to service

• Collaborating with kitchen, bar, and service teams to realize an optimal guest experience

• Ensuring a neat, well-groomed, and welcoming appearance of the restaurant

• Identifying guest wishes and responding to them proactively

• Correctly handling payments and reservation-related inquiries

• Actively contributing to upselling and increasing guest satisfaction

• Working according to HACCP, quality, and safety guidelines

• Contributing to the high service and quality standards that belong to a restaurant concept led by Sidney Schutte
