• 5-7 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer, DevSecOps Engineer, Software Engineer, Platform Engineer, Security Engineer or Software Architect

• Demonstrable experience with Azure DevOps, YAML Pipelines and cloud deployment

• Experience with CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automated software delivery

• Knowledge of Application Security, secure coding and OWASP Top 10

• Experience with static code analysis, SAST, dependency scanning and vulnerability management

• Experience with DevSecOps, Secure SDLC and security governance

• Strong communication and coaching skillsExcellent command of the Dutch and English languages

DevSecOps Lead vacancy at Centric. Lead software quality, application security and DevSecOps, working with Azure DevOps, CI/CD, security automation, Secure SDLC and cloud-native software development.

As DevSecOps Lead | Software Quality & Security, you are the expert who raises the technical quality, security and software delivery of our software portfolio to a higher level. You ensure that software development, cloud deployment, security governance and DevSecOps principles come together seamlessly within more than 20 mission-critical applications for various clients.

You monitor the quality, safety and continuity of our software development chain and know exactly which risks, vulnerabilities and improvement initiatives deserve priority.

In this role, you combine Azure DevOps expertise with software quality, security governance and process improvement.
You work closely with senior engineers, determine technical standards and ensure that our development chain is secure, efficient and future-proof.

• Designing, optimizing and managing Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines

• Integrating DevSecOps principles within the full Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)

• Monitoring software quality via SonarQube, CodeQL, SAST, dependency scanning and security tooling

• Implementing secure-by-design and shift-left security strategies

• Automating deployments, testing, compliance checks and security scans

• Identifying and mitigating security risks within cloud and application environments

• Performing threat modeling, security reviews and vulnerability assessments

• Setting up quality gates, governance standards and technical guidelines

• Coaching development teams in the areas of secure coding, OWASP Top 10 and DevSecOps best practices

• Developing dashboards, KPIs and reports regarding software quality, security and delivery performance
