Medior Test Automation Engineer

• You have (at least) HBO (higher professional education) working and thinking level;
• You have experience with low-code test automation (such as Robot Framework) or high-code test automation (such as Cucumber in combination with JavaScript or Java);
• You can program or are currently learning to do so (preferably JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, Java, or C#);
• You are communicatively skilled, have an eye for detail, and are creative in finding solutions;
• You have certification for TMAP, ISTQB, Rapid Software Testing (or are willing to obtain this).

Excellent command of the Dutch language is essential for this position. A C1 level is required, with B2 being the minimum acceptable proficiency level.

• A permanent contract of 32, 36, or 40 hours with a compensation budget up to €5,900 gross per month incl. holiday allowance and mobility allowance;

At our clients, as a Medior Test Automation Engineer, you can build upon existing test automation. Naturally, you will be busy with automating tests, but you also see what can be improved and can explain this to your stakeholders.

You make a real impact by, in addition to automating tests, advising on future-proof automation based on purposeful choices and helping the client implement improvements in the technology and the feedback loop of the test automation. In doing so, you can guide the client through these improvements and advice, but you can also explain what the test results mean for quality and release.

You are proactive and also enjoy following the latest trends in the market. For example, you have an interest in the use of Gen AI within test automation as a supplement to the expertise you already possess. Within the Test Automation community, you can brainstorm with colleagues about the opportunities of AI, but you also think critically about the possibilities.
