Medior AI Machine Learning Engineer

• You have a higher professional (HBO) or academic (WO) level of working and thinking
• You have 2 to 4 years of experience as an AI Machine Learning Engineer or in a similar role
• You have strong knowledge of machine learning, software engineering, and data modeling
• You have experience with Python and frameworks such as scikit‑learn, PyTorch, and/or TensorFlow
• You work with modern cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, or GCP) and understand MLOps (deployment/monitoring)
• You can clearly explain results and choices to non‑technical stakeholders
• You are communicatively skilled, curious, and take ownership
• You have excellent command of the Dutch language, both spoken and written (C1 level)

• A permanent contract of 32, 36, or 40 hours with a compensation budget up to €7,100, gross per month incl. holiday allowance and mobility allowance;

As a Machine Learning Engineer at Sogeti, you direct the design, building, and scaling of AI and ML solutions that deliver demonstrable value in production. You operate at the intersection of data science, software engineering, and cloud architecture, ensuring that models are deployed reliably, manageably, and explainably. Together with clients, you determine the right balance between speed and quality and safeguard standards that are scalable.
