Automation Engineer

• You have at least two years of experience with RPA or process automation;
• You have experience with UiPath, Blue Prism, Open RPA, or similar tooling;
• You have experience with integrations and REST/JSON APIs;
• You possess basic knowledge of programming, for example with Python, C#, or VB.NET;
• You understand programming logic, including flows, conditionals, and loops;
• Experience with AI for document processing or GenAI and with workflow tooling such as n8n or Power Platform is a plus;
• Familiarity with CI/CD, Docker, or DevOps methodologies will help you further;

• You speak fluent Dutch (C1).

• A permanent contract of 32, 36, or 40 hours with a compensation budget up to € 7,000 gross per month incl. holiday allowance and mobility allowance;

As an Automation Engineer, you thoroughly map out processes and translate business questions into scalable, maintainable solutions. You build end-to-end automations with UiPath, Blue Prism, or similar tooling and make conscious choices about when RPA is appropriate or when AI adds more value. In doing so, you automate, for example, invoice processing, document flows, email processing, and data processing. You develop API integrations between systems, use programming knowledge for automation logic, and take into account situations where human control remains part of the process. You work together with engineers at the intersection of development, integrations, and automation. By combining your technical expertise with business analysis, you don't just build isolated scripts, but solutions that fit within a broader architecture, actually run in production, and deliver concrete customer value.

• Working on end-to-end automation solutions for, among others, invoice processing, document flows, email processing, and data extraction using RPA, AI, and API integrations;
• Collaborating with engineers within development, integrations, and automation to build solutions that are part of a broader architecture;
• Personal guidance in your development from RPA and process automation toward broader Intelligent Automation;
• A strong in-house L&D program through which you further deepen your knowledge of automation, integrations, programming, and AI;
