HR Generalist

Additionally:

• have at least 3 years of relevant experience in a broad People role

• work independently and know when it is smart to involve others

• communicate easily with employees and managers and handle confidential situations with care

• get energy from improving processes instead of just executing them

• work accurately and in a structured manner and keep your cool when five things happen at once

• have a good basic knowledge of Dutch labor law and experience with HR administration, payroll, and the employee lifecycle

• speak and write Dutch fluently and can manage well in English.

• Experience within a start-up or scale-up? That would be a plus.

• A broad People role with a lot of responsibility, variety, and room to make things better in your own way.

• A gross monthly salary of €3,000 to €4,400 based on 40 hours, plus 8% holiday allowance.

As an HR Generalist at Brenger, you are the one who ensures that everything surrounding People runs smoothly. From a warm welcome on someone's first day of work to recruitment, payroll, and smart People processes: you maintain the overview, arrange what is necessary, and see where things can be improved.

You are close to the team and our managers, receive a lot of responsibility, and have plenty of room to further professionalize our People Operations/HR. And because no two days are the same, you switch easily between a question from a colleague, a new hire, a recruitment process, and organizing the next team activity.

As a People Generalist, you are the point of contact for employees and managers for all kinds of People issues. You ensure that daily People matters are well-arranged and simultaneously look at how processes and the employee experience can be improved.

Concretely, this means you:

• are the first point of contact for the team and managers regarding People questions

• ensure a smooth employee journey, from onboarding and contract changes to offboarding

• coordinate recruitment and, together with hiring managers, ensure a great candidate experience

• keep personnel files, documentation, and People administration carefully in order

• continuously improve our People processes and employee experience

• manage and use our HRIS (HiBob) and other People systems more smartly

• coordinate payroll input and processes regarding sick leave, UWV, and occupational health services (Arbodienst)

• ensure that our office is a pleasant, well-organized place to work

• coordinate team activities and events that make Brenger just a little bit more fun
