The role
Grow with Bosch. From user request to smart solution: you make it possible. You are the first contact that helps the customer further
📍 Nieuwegein as preferred location, with room for Berkel en Rodenrijs
A customer calls with a malfunction. What is happening? What help is needed? And what can the customer expect? You ask the right questions, maintain an overview, and ensure that the report is handled quickly and correctly.
As a Service Desk Officer at Bosch Building Technologies, you are the first point of contact for customers, technicians, and colleagues. You provide first-line support, monitor the progress of reports, and ensure that all parties involved have the correct information. Thanks to your commitment, customers know where they stand and our technicians can get to work well-prepared.
What you'll do
- You accept incidents, malfunctions, requests for help, and changes via telephone and email.
- You ask follow-up questions to get a clear picture of the situation and offer first-line support.
- You carefully register customer and malfunction data so that colleagues can immediately proceed with the handling.
- You ensure a clear handover to technicians and other involved departments.
- You monitor agreements regarding malfunction handling and feedback.
- You proactively inform customers about the progress.
- You ensure that technicians and other involved parties have the correct information in a timely manner.
- You participate in planning meetings and monitor ongoing agreements.
- You identify bottlenecks in processes and working methods.
- You contribute ideas to further improve customer satisfaction and efficiency.
- You support the development of a modern, future-oriented Service Desk with attention to digitalization and automation.
Why this role fits you
You enjoy helping people and are only satisfied when a question or malfunction has been properly handled. You listen attentively, ask the right questions, and know how to distinguish between main and secondary issues.
Even when multiple reports come in at the same time, you remain calm and maintain an overview. You switch easily between different conversation partners. A customer wants a clear explanation, while a technician needs concrete information. You ensure that both can proceed.
What makes this position interesting?
No two days are the same. You switch continuously between customers, technicians, and internal departments. One moment you are helping a customer with a malfunction, the next moment you are coordinating activities with a technician or monitoring the progress of an urgent report.
In addition, you work on the further professionalization of our Service Desk. Digitalization, process improvement, modern tooling, and AI support play an increasingly large role in this. You get the opportunity to think along about improvements that make our service even more efficient and customer-oriented.
Who are you?
You are service-oriented, accessible, and take responsibility. You maintain an overview, work accurately, and do not let go until a report has been correctly followed up.
Is information missing? Is an appointment delayed? Then you take action. You get energy from satisfied customers and from a service that gets a little better every day.
Why Bosch?
Bosch is an organization with a strong long-term vision, in which short-term profit, quality, development, and sustainable relationships are central. We invest consciously in our people and innovation. As a result, you get the space to learn, take initiative, and further develop yourself.
Ready for the next step?
Do you want to help customers further, make a difference in our service, and contribute to the further development of our Service Desk? Then we would love to meet you.
