Safety Management Internship | Heijen | €700 | Start: February 2027

Are you an HBO or WO student in the field of Safety Engineering, Integral Safety Science, or a similar program, and are you looking for an internship or graduation assignment where you can make a real impact? During this internship, you will support the further development and implementation of our Safety Management System (SMS).

As an intern within our HSE department, you will contribute to the development and optimization of our Safety Management System. We will coordinate the exact content of your assignment with your studies, interests, and learning goals. Possible assignments are:

• Supporting the development and implementation of a Safety Management System for a new location where Arvato operates as a Seveso organization. You will help set up safety processes, identify legal and operational requirements, and develop a structure through which safety risks are effectively managed from the start of the operation.
• Contributing to the further development of an existing Safety Management System by working on installation scenarios and pre-incident cards. You will analyze possible emergency situations, translate risks into practical safety documentation, and support the improvement of preparation for and response to incidents.

• You are currently following an HBO or WO program in the field of Integral Safety Science, Safety & Security Management, Safety Engineering, or a similar study;
• You are looking for a practice-oriented internship or graduation assignment in which you can apply your knowledge;
• You are interested in safety management systems, risk analyses, and improving occupational safety;
• You are proactive, curious, and work both independently and enjoy collaborating with colleagues from different disciplines;
• You have a good command of the English language.
