As a managing consultant Strategy, you will work with clients on their greatest strategic challenges in areas such as changing markets, new services, sustainability challenges, cost savings, and strategic positioning. Your focus lies on securing and executing client projects regarding their strategy and its realization. In doing so, you help client organizations particularly in the energy & utilities, mobility & logistics, and broad industry sectors. You are also able to serve clients in other private and business services and family businesses.

Examples of projects in which you take the lead:

• guiding strategic workshops to recalibrate the strategy of an energy supplier

• recalibrating the strategy for a market leader in food processing automation

• analyzing and advising on a company-wide cost-saving program for an industrial party

• conducting market research into product development in the defense industry

• researching and guiding a strategic collaboration between two service providers.

You combine daily advisory work with developing and strengthening client relationships, acquiring new assignments, further developing our services, and mentoring junior consultants. You work in multidisciplinary teams and contribute to the success of Berenschot within the Strategy & Operations field.

You will join the Organizational Transformations advisory group, in the Strategy & Operations team. Together with colleagues with expertise in strategic advice and operations consulting, you will work on challenging projects for companies and semi-public organizations. Are you ready to deploy your knowledge and experience for your team and Berenschot? If you recognize yourself in the following characteristics, then this is the perfect opportunity for you:

• A completed Master's degree, preferably in strategic management, (technical) business administration, engineering, or a comparable technical, business, or economic field.

• At least 10-15 years of work experience, of which a significant portion is in an external consultancy role at a renowned consultancy firm.

• You have experience coordinating a project team of consultants and are a strong advisor to your clients.

• You have a proven track record and a strong network in the energy & utilities and industry sectors, and also have experience with strategic advisory work in other sectors.

• You have a commercial mindset and a demonstrable ability to further expand your network and assignment portfolio.

• In addition to strategy development, you also have an affinity with its realization and implementation within organizations.
