Country Procurement at Ayvens is responsible for supplier policy, procurement, and supplier management in the broadest sense of the word. In practice, this occurs in the areas of Car Procurement, Rental, Remarketing, LCV upfitting and conversion, and Indirect Procurement.

As a senior Category Manager, you bear responsibility for the Indirect Procurement category. You will do this in close cooperation with other departments/business owners directly involved here. Think of HR, Facility, IT, Marketing, and Risk & Compliance. Within this role, you have a strong leadership role in which you know how to link business needs to the right suppliers that fit within the Ayvens governance framework. You also communicate frequently with Ayvens Corporation regarding the design and operation of procurement policies that must be implemented and followed across Ayvens.

As an experienced Category Manager, you are at the heart of the organization. You know the interests of all your internal stakeholders and know how to properly safeguard process, quality, and costs in your contracts.

Your most important tasks and responsibilities

• Drafting and issuing tenders in line with organizational needs, governance & compliance that directly contribute to the gross profit of Ayvens;

• Frequent, cross-domain coordination and alignment with stakeholders at senior management level

• Successfully leading implementation and improvement initiatives and projects

• Point of contact for Ayvens Corp regarding risk, governance, compliance policies, and initiatives.

• Contract negotiations and managing your supplier domain, where you will of course make use of service levels, bonus, discount, and contract agreements;

• Providing tactical execution to the relevant Ayvens strategies in consultation with domain managers

• Actively promoting CSR as an important part of the supply chain responsibility that Ayvens has;

• Following market trends and translating these into opportunities or risks for Ayvens.
