• MBO 3 level, 3 years (more is allowed!) experience as a Cook, of which 1 year in a coaching role
• You know the relevant regulations and know how to comply with rules properly
• Proven talent to inspire and further develop a team
• You are an early bird; starting at 06:00 in the morning is no problem for you

• A master craftsman diploma is not a hard requirement, but you must want to (quickly) obtain it
• Well-developed sense of hospitality: you always go for that ear-to-ear smile

• Because you get happy from a salary between €2,769 and €3,352 based on 38 hours, depending on experience

Tight planning and coordination can make or break a dinner. If you just barely miss having the right ingredients in stock, or when the entrecote is already cooked while the vegetarian counterpart still needs to simmer for another fifteen minutes, things go wrong. At a busy airport like Schiphol, it is of great importance that you can inspire a kitchen brigade to achieve top performance for our guests.

What will you be doing as a Chef de Partie?
Arranging what needs to be arranged to make every visit a celebration. The key ingredients? Clear shift briefings. Inspiring coaching of the kitchen team. Ordering exactly the right raw materials in exactly the right quantities. Ensuring a safe and HACCP-compliant way of working. And solving (once and for all) any issues experienced by guests and colleagues. Plenty of variety, then! This includes being able to use your culinary skills, because when there is nothing to arrange for a moment, you are yourself at the back of the kitchen. Leading by example is still worth following in 2023! A varied role, therefore, for an experienced Cook who loves to share knowledge and wants to alternate cooking with coaching, teambuilding, and coordinating.

• You ensure the correct way of working and make sure we have the right supplies 'in house'
• You monitor the quality of everything that appears on the plate
• You ensure that we work safely and according to all Arbo, HACCP, etc. regulations
• You resolve any issues from guests and colleagues quickly, decisively, and definitively
• You think, talk, and decide along with others regarding improvements and innovations
