Your role: a flavor maker in the heart of the airport
As Horeca Staff at The Kitchen, you are the one who makes guests feel welcome in an open, accessible, and tasty environment. You provide the energy in the establishment - with your service, your smile, and your pace. You work in the open kitchen, behind the counter, and on the floor. You ensure everything runs smoothly, tastily, and hospitably.

• Warmly receiving and helping travelers from all over the world
• Preparing fresh dishes, sandwiches, and smoothies
• Keeping the open kitchen and counter in order
• Surprising guests with quality, speed, and attention
• Collaborating with a close-knit team that can rely on each other

Who you are
You don't need years of experience; your energy, curiosity, and hospitality make the difference. At The Kitchen, you will learn everything about food, service, and airport hospitality.

You'll find the past perfect with us if you:

• Are available for at least 30 hours per week
• Have no problem with early shifts (from 04:00 AM)
• Love a dynamic, lively environment
• Get energy from working with international guests
• Have an interest in growing within hospitality

What you receive as Horeca Staff
At HMSHost, it is all about hospitality - and about you. You learn on-the-job, grow through paid training, and can progress to roles such as Team Trainer or Horeca Supervisor. The possibilities are endless. You receive:

• Salary up to €2,468 per month (from age 20, based on 38 hours per week)
• 8% holiday allowance and an annual bonus of one week's salary
• Up to €17.60 travel allowance per day
• Extra night allowance of up to 50% for hours worked between 00:00 - 06:00

Good to know
To work at Rotterdam The Hague Airport, you need an Airport Pass. We will arrange the application for you, but you must have been registered with a Dutch municipality for the past eight years. The screening takes approximately four weeks.
