The role

Vitestro, founded in 2017 in Utrecht, is a pioneer in the future of blood collection with the Aletta® Autonomous Robotic Phlebotomy Device™ (ARPD™). This groundbreaking medical device combines advanced multimodal imaging (near-infrared, ultrasound, and Doppler ultrasound) with robotics and AI to autonomously perform the complete diagnostic blood collection procedure.

To address critical staff shortages in healthcare and improve the patient experience, Vitestro is transforming one of the most common and essential medical procedures. With more than 110 team members and rapid growth, we are scaling our impact. Now that we have placed our first devices at customer sites, we are expanding our team to ensure successful implementation and long-term reliability. At Vitestro, we are committed to continuous innovation and improvement.

Our proactive attitude and passion for tackling the toughest challenges and finding groundbreaking solutions lead to great success: we are growing fast. Are you ready to continue your career in Customer Care?

At Vitestro, we are continuously committed to innovation and improvement.

What you'll do

As our Customer Care Specialist, you will play a key role in safely and reliably delivering our medical device to the clinicians who work with it daily. You will operate at the intersection of engineering and customer success, ensuring that installations, troubleshooting, and fault resolution are carried out in a structured, high-quality manner. You will work closely with the broader Customer Success team and engineering stakeholders to resolve field issues, identify root causes, and continuously improve our field equipment support.

In your first months at Vitestro, your focus will be on building autonomy in the field. You will receive training with demo devices, begin installing our device at customer sites, and learn the full operation of the system so that you can eventually operate completely independently, without depending on colleagues for support. You will take ownership of structured troubleshooting: when something goes wrong, you won't just fix it, but you will also record the faults in mechanics, electronics, software logs, and robotics to prevent them in the future.

Additionally, you will contribute to the improvement of our service department and documentation, ensuring that every installation, every problem, and every solution is clearly recorded so that knowledge is preserved and shared rather than lost. You will travel primarily through the Netherlands, but also through Western Europe, and where necessary provide support in other countries, staying overnight when needed, and bringing a strong, practical, hands-on mentality to every visit. Additionally, your base will be the head office in Utrecht to also maintain and service internal equipment.

This is what your success looks like

After 6 months, you operate completely independently in the field and handle installations and troubleshooting with confidence, without needing support from colleagues. You have made a tangible contribution to improving our service processes, making them more structured and better repeatable for the team. You are a reliable, hands-on presence for our customers and a trusted source of technical knowledge for the team at the office.

You thrive in a role that combines technical depth with genuine customer contact, enjoy working with complex, regulated equipment, and bring a pragmatic, proactive mentality to every challenge.

How we work

At Vitestro, ownership is not a hollow slogan, but an expectation. We trust people to take responsibility, make decisions, and drive work forward. We believe that breakthroughs occur when talented people combine dedication, responsibility, and teamwork.

  • We take initiative instead of waiting for instructions.

  • We focus on execution and achieving results.

  • We proactively clear obstacles and help each other be successful.

  • We challenge ideas, not people.

  • We continue to learn, improve, and raise the bar constantly.

  • We celebrate team success over individual heroics.

We move fast, but thoughtfully. We place great value on quality, because the technology we build ultimately has an impact on patients and healthcare professionals. Are you looking for an environment where you can make a significant contribution, take ownership of meaningful work, and want to be surrounded by highly motivated colleagues? Then we would love to meet you.

What we offer

  • Competitive salary including pension scheme.

  • 25 vacation days based on full-time employment.

  • Lease car.

  • Collaborating in a highly educated team, with our home base in Utrecht.

  • Regular activities outside of working hours with the team, and an annual team weekend.

  • Training budget.

  • The chance to be a key figure in shaping a new, global industry: autonomous medical robotics.

Are you enthusiastic? We completely understand, because we are too! By joining us, you play an active role in changing the future of healthcare. Want to join our revolution? Then we would love to hear from you!

If you think you have it in you, but do not meet all the requirements - we still recommend that you apply. We would love to hear about your interest and experience and would like to see if you are a good match for Vitestro. No one is a perfect fit, and we welcome applications with imperfections. We offer a learning environment in which we grow together!

For recruitment agencies - we are currently satisfied with the way we manage our process and fill our vacancies through our own efforts. Please consider this as a response to your offer via email, telephone, LinkedIn, etc. - we have no need for your support at this time! Thank you.
