Vention Technologies is one of the fastest-growing companies in the Netherlands and is looking for an ambitious and experienced Manager Operations with the potential to grow into the role of Chief Operating Officer (COO).

As Manager Operations, you are responsible for daily business operations. You ensure that our multidisciplinary engineering teams deliver high-quality results, that projects run efficiently, and that our organization is ready for further growth.

You play a key role in professionalizing and scaling Vention Technologies. We specialize in safe, smart, and connected products, combining high-quality services with our own IoT platform, Wockel®.

In close collaboration with the CEO and the management team, you translate strategic ambitions into concrete operational results. As you grow in your role, your responsibilities will expand further toward integral operational leadership as COO.

• Operational management: You are responsible for daily operations and ensure the efficient execution of engineering projects, the delivery of products and supporting services, the optimal deployment of people and resources, and predictable execution of our activities.

• Directing product development: You guide and coordinate product development projects in close collaboration with our engineers, partners, and customers.

• Realizing product deliveries: Together with our production partners, you ensure that products are delivered on time, in full, and according to the agreed quality requirements.

• Directing service provision: You guarantee that our software services and supporting services are delivered to our customers reliably and as agreed.

• Realizing operational excellence: You continuously improve our processes, project execution, quality management, and operational performance to increase efficiency, profitability, and customer satisfaction.

• Developing strong teams: You lead, coach, and develop project managers and engineering team leaders. You stimulate a culture of delivering customer value, ownership, curiosity, collaboration, and a passion for innovation in product development and making an impact.

• Monitoring business results: You develop and monitor operational KPIs and maintain control over project returns, personnel deployment, capacity planning, and financial performance.

• Shaping the future: You work closely with the CEO and the management team on business strategy, organizational development, and long-term planning. In doing so, you grow step-by-step toward broader operational ultimate responsibility.
