Service Technician - Commercial Buildings in the Netherlands

As a service technician, you will go out independently in your own company van. No two days are the same: you will work on various building-related installations within offices, schools, healthcare institutions, and other commercial buildings. From preventive maintenance to resolving complex malfunctions and commissioning new installations. You ensure that installations continue to function optimally and that customers can rely on a safe and comfortable working environment.

As a commercial building service technician, you are the face of Schipper Installatie to the customer. You are responsible for the maintenance, inspection, and troubleshooting of building-related mechanical installations. Thanks to your technical insight, you know how to analyze problems quickly and resolve them in a professional manner.

In the morning, you step into your company van, check your schedule, and head out independently to customers in the region. On-site, you perform maintenance work, inspect installations, and fix malfunctions. You actively think along with the customer and identify areas for improvement to prevent future problems.

‍Your duties consist of:

• Service and maintenance of building-related installations within the commercial sector

• Testing and inspecting installations

• Commissioning new installations

• Resolving malfunctions in, among others, heat pumps, ventilation systems, air handling units, and control technology installations

• Analyzing and locating technical problems

• Advising customers on maintenance, improvements, and replacements

• Recording performed work and findings

• Ensuring an optimally functioning installation and a satisfied customer
