What we're looking for

A higher professional (HBO) or academic (WO) background
5-10 years of experience as a Java developer
Experience with microservices, event-driven architectures, and cloud-native designs
Extensive knowledge of Spring, Kubernetes, Kafka, Elastic, and relational/NoSQL databases
Practical experience with CI/CD, DevSecOps, testing, and observability
Strong communication skills in Dutch and English
A proactive mindset and drive to advance both colleagues and clients

The role

What you'll do

Developing back-end and full-stack solutions with Java 17-21+, Spring Boot, Docker/Kubernetes, Kafka, Elastic, SQL/NoSQL
Building event-driven platforms and cloud-native solutions (AWS/Azure)
Integrating with modern API‑platforms, messaging, and security‑standards
Working according to CI/CD‑principles (GitLab/Azure DevOps)
Setting up monitoring and observability (e.g., OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, Grafana)
Assisting with design patterns (DDD, CQRS, reactive) and performance‑optimization
Sparring with product owners, solution architects, and C‑level
Contributing to modernizations, cloud migrations, and technical roadmaps
Leading workshops and proof‑of‑concepts for clients
