(First) E/W Mechanic

Are you an experienced mechanic who enjoys working independently AND taking the lead on the shop floor? As a 1st Class Mechanic at P. de Vries Installatietechniek, you will work on diverse technical installations in the Leeuwarden and Groningen region. You will perform installation, repair, and maintenance work and, together with your colleagues, ensure quality we can be proud of.

As a 1st Class Mechanic, you are an important force on our projects. You work independently on technical installations and ensure that the work is carried out well, safely, and according to schedule.

You maintain an overview of the shop floor and provide functional guidance to mechanics and apprentice mechanics when necessary. In doing so, you enjoy sharing your professional knowledge and helping less experienced colleagues to constantly improve in their trade.

You work closely with the Foreman, Lead Mechanic, and (Senior) Project Leader. You also have contact with the client and ensure that everyone knows where they stand.

In addition, you have:

• A completed technical education at mbo-3 level.

• Experience with technical installations.

• A VCA-VOL certificate, or the willingness to obtain this.

• Driver's license B.

• Enthusiasm to guide less experienced mechanics and apprentices.
