The role

Are you technically minded and would you rather not sit in a classroom five days a week? Then a BBL trajectory at V&M Regeltechniek in Apeldoorn is for you! You will learn the trade from experienced colleagues, go to school one day per week, and work on cool projects within measurement & control technology during the remaining days.

The beautiful thing about this BBL position? During your training, you get the chance to discover different sides of the profession. You will start in our production, where you will learn everything about building and wiring control cabinets. Subsequently, you will shadow our field service and experience how these installations are mounted, connected, and commissioned on location. This way, you discover which direction suits you best and you build a broad technical foundation. From hospitals and universities to modern offices and data centers: you help make buildings smarter, more sustainable, and more energy-efficient.

What you'll do

During your BBL trajectory, you will become acquainted with various parts of measurement & control technology. You begin in our production, where you learn how control cabinets are constructed and cabled. Once you have mastered this foundation, you will go to projects together with an experienced technician and discover work in the field service. This way, you experience both sides of the trade and develop yourself into an all-round technical specialist.

Your duties include

Helping with the construction and wiring of control cabinets in production;
Learning to read and apply technical drawings;
Mounting, connecting, and checking components;
Shadowing experienced technicians on diverse projects;
Helping with the mounting, connecting, testing, and commissioning of measurement & control installations;
Getting acquainted with building management systems and smart installations;
Gaining new technical knowledge in practice every day.

What you bring

You really don't need to be an experienced technician yet. What we find much more important is that you are curious, eager to learn, and interested in technology.

Additionally:

You are following (or will soon start) a BBL training in Electrical Engineering or Installation Technology;
You have an enthusiastic and motivated attitude;
You enjoy working together and like to roll up your sleeves;
You are eager to learn and want to develop yourself into a technical specialist.
